During the 2008-09 football season A.S. Roma will play the 76th Serie A of its history.

As in the previous season, Roma achieved the second place of the Serie A so, they will compete in the UEFA Champions League 2008-09 starting from the group stage. Further, because giallorossi won the Coppa Italia 2007-08, they will play the Supercoppa Italiana 2008 for the third consecutive time against Inter Milan.
