The City of Alaminos is a 5th class city in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. According to the latest census, it has a population of 79,788 people in 15,527 households. It is bounded by the municipalities of Sual, Bani, and Mabini.
Hundred Islands National Park, a tourism destination composed of 123 small islands, is located off the coast Barangay Lucap, Alaminos City.
The Communist Party of the Philippines was founded by Jose Maria Sison in a remote barangay of Dulacac on December 26, 1968. [1]
Recently Alaminos is one of those badly damaged by the typhoon, Typhoon Emong which damaged a lot of houses in Alaminos and even damaged the roof of the Church. Several organizations are asking for donations and aid to help in restoring the town back to its former self.
