Anu Agarwal (born January 11, 1969) is an Indian model turned Bollywood actress. She is best known for her leading role in the blockbuster movie, Aashiqui. She has done bold scenes in some of her movies.

She was born in New Delhi. She was born into a Punjabi family but grew up in Madras. She is a Gold Medalist in Psychology, from Delhi University.

She was paired opposite Rahul Roy, a new comer for her first movie, Aashiqui. This was a musical hit, but it did not help her career much. She got a few movie offers, but none were substantial enough.
She created a huge controversy by appearing topless in a movie named The Cloud Door (1995) directed by Mani Kaul.
After 1996, she shifted her focus on to South Indian films. Since then,she disappeared following personal trauma and has recently re-surfaced and is presently seeking roles in Bollywood.

Agarwal dated Saif Ali Khan in early 1990s.[1]
She had a car accident where she sustained considerable injuries and since then has focussed on yoga and is running a yoga school.
