Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture (Mongol: ᠪᠠᠶᠠᠨᠭᠣᠣᠯ ᠤᠨ ᠮᠣᠩᠭᠣᠯ ᠥᠪᠡᠷᠲᠡᠭᠡᠨ ᠵᠠᠰᠠᠬᠤ ᠵᠧᠤ , Chinese:巴音郭楞蒙古自治州, Pinyin: Bāyīnguōlèng Měnggǔ Zìzhìzhōu, Mongolian in Cyrillic script: Баянголын Монгол өөртөө засах тойрог, Uyghur: بايىنغولىن موڭغۇل ئاپتونوم ئوبلاستى, Bayingholin Mongghol Aptonom Oblasti, Bayinƣolin Mongƣol Aptonom Oblasti)[1] is an autonomous prefecture of the People's Republic of China. It is the largest autonomous prefecture of China with an area of 462,700 km². The prefectural capital is Korla.
