David Jones is a Scottish game programmer and entrepreneur who founded Realtime Worlds and co-founded Rockstar North (formerly known as DMA Design) who took part in the creation of major game series including Lemmings and the highly acclaimed, but controversial Grand Theft Auto video game (which later spawned many successful sequels). Jones founded the computer game company Realtime Worlds in 2002 where he works as Creative Director of the company. His most recent work was creating the original franchise Crackdown for the Xbox 360 console and the upcoming open-ended massively multiplayer online game, All Points Bulletin.

[edit] The scam attempt
In June 2009 someone gained the control of David Jones' Facebook account and sent messages to his contacts on the website, claiming one of David's friends was stranded in Wales, and asked for £1000 to be sent to a bank account. There is no known victims of this scam attempt, and David later sent an email to his employees (who were the primary target of the scam) to explain the situation.
