Don Corleone
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Don Corleone may refer to four major characters in Mario Puzo's The Godfather saga:
- Vito Corleone, the original Don, played by Marlon Brando and Robert De Niro
- Michael Corleone, Vito's son, played by Al Pacino, who took over the running of the family
- Vincent Mancini-Corleone, Michael's successor and the third Don Corleone, played by Andy Garcia
- Aldo Trapani, Michael's temporary successor, played by Andrew Pifko.
[edit] Cultural References
- In the video game Paper Mario:The Thousand Year Door, there is a character named Don Pianta, the head of the Pianta syndicate, an obvious parody of the Mafia and their leader, called the Don. Don Pianta's mustache seems to parody that of Vito Corleone.
