Gustave Trouvé (1839–1902) was a French electrical engineer of the 19th century. His inventions include:

  • First outboard motorboat
  • First electric powered automobile
  • First practical electrically lit Endescope 1873
  • Wearable Electric Jewels in 1884

In November 1881 M. Trouvé demonstrated a working three-wheeled automobile at the International Exhibition of Electricity in Paris. [1]
