ISO 3166-2:MX

ISO 3166-2:MX is the subset of the International Organization for Standardization sub-national region code standard ISO 3166-2 that pertains to Mexico. The standard includes the 31 states and 1 federal district. The first part of the code is the 2-character ISO 3166-1 country code MX and the second part of the code is the 3-character state/district code.[1][2][3]
