James "Jimmy" Edwards (11 December 1905 – April 1982) was an English footballer who played as a left half or inside left.

Edwards was born in Tipton. He joined West Bromwich Albion for a £350 fee in May 1926 and made his league debut for the club in March 1928 against Hull City. In May 1937 he moved to Norwich City for £750. He died in West Bromwich in April 1982.
