Kittilä Airport (IATA: KTT, ICAO: EFKT) (Finnish: Kittilän lentoasema) is a general aviation and commercial airport located in Kittilä, Finland, inside the Arctic Circle. It is one of the main airports towards the north of Finland and last year in 2006 carried 238,000 passengers to their destinations. On July 27, 2006 during one of many expansions at the airport a fire broke out and heavily damaged the older section of the airport. The terminal was rebuilt in 2007 and the airport is now running smoothly again.
