- English name of Lapland, Sweden (Lappland); the name is not in official use
- Sápmi (area), the entire cultural region inhabited by the Sami people minority in northern Europe, sometimes erroneously referred to as Lapland
- S.S. Lapland (1908), a large ocean liner of the Red Star Line that served from 1908-1934. In 1912 she brought back to Plymouth England many Titanic survivors along with Bruce Ismay the Titanic's owner.
