Ponginae is a subfamily in the hominidae family. It contains a number of genera, all but one extinct:
- Pongo (orangutans)
- †Gigantopithecus
- †Sivapithecus
- †Lufengpithecus
- †Ankarapithecus
- †Ouranopithecus
