Is this the same as k'un-ch'ü? Please update Wikipedia:2004_Encyclopedia_topics/16 if so. Matt 02:04, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Yes it is. This is the usual problem we have in Chinese studies - with competing romanizations. I will add this Wade-Giles form to the present page now; not sure what to do abt Wikipedia:2004_Encyclopedia_topics/16. Charmii 05:27, 2005 Jul 04 (EDT)

Just to mention that under the heading "Repertoire" there is a link to a Wikipedia article entitled The White Snake. This appears to refer to a tale by the brothers Grimm, not "The Legend of the White Snake". Regards, Nick. Nick 18:00, 7 April 2006 (UT

I don't think the present picture for this article is appropriate. Kunqu is an assumedly more scholarly form, and deals less with warrior women, which is perhaps more appropriate for Peking Opera. The Dutch article has many good, relevant photographs from a performance of The Peony Pavilion, a play often done in the kunqu style.
