[edit] La Merindad
Someone had placed the following at the top of the article as a hatnote. It may belong somewhere in Wikipedia, but presumably not there.
- La Merindad de Castilla la Vieja was a small region in the Castilian province of Burgos. Now it is part of the town of Villarcayo de Merindad de Castilla la Vieja.
